About Us

Hey there! We’re two sisters, born under the warm Moroccan sun, now living in the vibrant city of Toronto. We’ve always believed that food is more than just what’s on your plate; it’s about the moments you share, the stories you tell, and the love you pour into every bite.

Growing up, our home was always filled with the smell of roasted nuts, honey, and freshly baked bread. Every meal was a celebration,  of flavor, family, and connection. When we moved to Canada, we carried those traditions with us. But as life got busier (and let’s be honest, messier), we realized that eating well and eating joyfully shouldn’t be complicated.

That’s how Ataay was born; out of our shared love for good food and our desire to make life just a little easier (and tastier!). We wanted to take something simple, like nut butter, and give it a new twist; something practical, portable, and oh-so-delicious.

Our nut butters; Peanut Butter and Almond Butter, are blended with coconut oil and a touch of flaky salt, creating that perfect balance between creamy, rich, and just a little fancy. And because we like to think outside the jar (literally), we created a sleek, travel-friendly pouch you can squeeze and enjoy anywhere; no jar, no spoon, no mess.

Whether you’re spreading it on toast, adding it to your smoothie, or squeezing it straight into your mouth during a hike (no judgment here!), Ataay is all about flavor, freedom, and fun.

Our dream is to bring a taste of our roots and our creativity to every corner of the world. From our Moroccan heritage to our Canadian adventure, we’re blending cultures, flavors, and ideas; all in one pouch.

And we’re just getting started! Soon, we’ll be launching Amlou, our modern take on Morocco’s traditional almond spread, and delicious Ataay Bites, perfect for when you need that quick energy boost without compromising on taste.
